Trip to Texas for Mommy's 38th Birthday

I was 14 months old (almost) and mommy and daddy took me to see Rich and Kristen Wade and their daughters, Brindley and Lindsey. We flew to Dallas, Texas on mommy's birthday (8/29/08) and spent the weekend there. We played in the toy room, swam in the pool, watched Hurricane Gustav (New Orleans) and I got a case of thrush in my mouth. My mommy took me to the urgi-care and they gave me medicine. I got a new tooth on the bottom left side and my top tooth was poking through too, so I didn't sleep much. We had a fun weekend, but we were happy to be home in our own beds!!!

First Top Teeth! June 7th

Dada was getting ready to go to India this weekend and you threw up all over his work bag strap. You proceeded to throw up all weekend and into Monday when Aunt Liz came over to watch the Bachelorette with Mommy. your top tooth poked through and I think it was bothering you all week. We went to Tony & Roses for dinner on Wednesday the 11th and you were really tired and crabby. Mommy ate fast and brought you home to bed! You've been a good girl considering you're probably in pain from your toofies coming in!

First Birthday Party

We're in the process of scheduling your first birthday party - you'll have 2 of them - one at Mike & Jen's house on June 21st and the other at our house on July 19th. It's easier that way to have all of the family with Lindsey's party and we'll have grandmom and friends over in July. Can't wait to celebrate! We had so much fun at your parties! The one at home was super fun and you loved your cake! You got lots of great presents and played with all of the kids that were here as much as you could!

First trip to the beach - May 2008

We flew to Norfolk, Virginia on May 24th and drove to Corolla, North Carolina. You were great the whole way there - slept on the plane, took a nap in the car and loved the house when we arrived. We took you to the ocean and you were a little leary of the sand. You wouldn't wear a hat or sunglasses, so the sun and wind was in your face! Grandmom Linda kept you under an umbrella! Daddy took you to the ocean and put your little toes in for a dip (the water was COLD). Mommy bought you a blow up pool and you liked that after you got used to it. You took good naps (even though you hated the little crib at night). We made a makeshift big girl bed and you slept great on Monday night........
