2 year Molars

You were extra crabby this weekend - we had family pictures to take and breakfast with Santa at the John Hancock Building - you had a little cold coming on and I looked in your mouth and saw your back left molar coming in!! You talked about Santa a lot this past week and are looking forward to Christmas (I think)

NC - August 9-16, 2009

It's my 2nd year at the beach and this year, we went with my new baby brother, Jonathan. Mommy and daddy had to lug a lot of stuff to the airport, but we made it safe (with the exception of me having a naptime meltdown - I usually go to bed at noonish, but we didn't take off until 1:30pm!) Other than that, me, my dvd player and Pinnochio and Little Mermaid II got us to the house in one piece. Ma-Mom, Aunt Susan, Aunt Darlene, Uncle John and Cousin Maddy were there to greet us!! It was HOT the first 2 days and rained on and off the rest of the trip, but I still got to play at the beach and swim in the "wimming pool"

Teeth, Poop and More

February was a fun month - we celebrated Valentine's Day at the Berwyn Rec center and you dressed up in your little pink heart outfit. You had 2 new teeth come in on the top - your molars and you spent most of the month with your hands in your mouth. You "found" your poop and were saying "what's this, what's this" while you proceeded to throw what looked like milk duds on the floor while mommy was cooking dinner. Mommy took you to the Brain and Body center to have you "assessed" and you passed with flying colors - you even amazed me with some of the things you did. Your vocabulary is crazy and it's amazing how much you repeat - we call you our little parrot. We started seriously sleep training and you are starting to sleep better at night by yourself. Mommy wants you to sleep through the night before Jonathan gets here! We found out today (3.13.09) that Aunt Bweezie is having a baby boy, so you'll have a baby brother and a baby boy cousin 2 months apart!!! You sing Happy Birthday all the time; mostly when you see a cake or cupcakes! I can't wait to plan your 2nd birthday party!

Cold January - 1/15/09

Well, it's freezing cold outside (it was 0 yesterday and is about 8 today) and I am trying to find fun things for us to do inside! Baby Einstein E, I, E, I, O is your favorite the past few days. We took a jacuzzi tub and made "bubble pancakes" - one of your two word phrases I forgot to tell Dr. Haukness about at your 18 month check-up yesterday. Which, by the way, you did great at. You had 2 shots - a flu and Hepatitis A. You got a sucker before the shots, so you weren't too upset. We colored and played with play-doh and did everything possible to keep you busy! Now, it's almost bed time - let's hope you go to bed fast - mommy is beat!

First Steps

Mommy was on the phone with Uncle John - Aunt Darlene just had baby Maddy and I walked over to dada!! August 4th, 2008! I'm still taking it slow, but have taken a bunch of steps when noone is looking - the minute I do, I drop.......it's easier and faster to crawl!!

Crawling!

Mommy and Daddy were in St. John and Grandmom Linda was here to watch me. I knew I was getting ready and finally crawled sometime between March 24 & March 31st. I did it for mommy and daddy when they got home that Sunday night and I've been going ever since! This is much better than sitting still all day in a chair or on the floor!

I go to pre-school!

Mommy found a wonderful place to take me to play and learn early with other kids! It's called Prairie Home Kids and Miss Pam is the owner. She makes wonderful breakfast and lunches and gives me milk and snacks and takes me to the park and Wonder Works museum. There are 5 other kids there with me - Tavi, John John, Easton, Sophia, Will and Andrew. They have a son, Reese, who is in 1st grade, but he plays with us when he's home. I love being there and mommy picks me up at 12:00 so we can have lunch together. I'm only there 3 days a week from 8-12 and mommy and I play after my nap! That place wears me out!!
